Job Summary
The Head of HR & Admin will be a key member of the leadership team,
responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and
administrative functions across the group. This role requires a strategic
thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of driving HR initiatives that
align with the company’s business goals and enhance employee
engagement, performance, and development.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies and
initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. - Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment and selection processes to
ensure the company attracts and retains top talent. - Performance Management: Design and implement performance
appraisal systems, ensuring they are fair, effective, and aligned with
company goals. - Learning & Development: Identify training needs and manage employee
development programs to foster growth and skill enhancement. - Compensation & Benefits: Develop competitive compensation and
benefits plans to attract and retain employees like EPF & ESI. - Employee Relations: Promote positive employee relations, address
grievances, and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labour laws and HR best
practices.
Administration - Office Management: Oversee administrative functions to ensure efficient
and effective office operations. - Facility Management: Manage facilities, ensuring they are safe,
well-maintained, and meet the needs of employees and the business. - Policy Development: Develop and enforce company policies and
procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and communicated effectively. - Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and
service providers for office supplies, equipment, and other administrative
needs.
Qualifications - Education: Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business
Administration, or related field. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years
in a leadership role. (Preference to be given to mineral plant related
experience)
Skills: - Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
